The client is a leading manufacturer and Distributor of Ice products and has huge presence all over the USA in business of food and beverage Industry. The company employs over 2,000 people

Client Situation:

The AX 2012 R3 and D365 Finance and Operations application replaced the IBM AS400 custom ERP application to transform the major business functions. The implementation included the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory and Master Planning modules, Developed custom Order Processing module by Dynamics Teck. Currently supporting 200+ users. Extensive customization was done to the base product in order to align it with the business processes and Mobile Platform. Due to the heavy customization the performance of data retrieval has deteriorated especially for Reports. 12 plus integrations

AMS Solution overview: 
  • Dynamics Teck used the offshore support model to achieve the client’s goals and objectives. The offshore support model included a team skilled in AX and D365, SQL Server and SSRS
  • Dynamics Teck  employed its robust KT methodology to ensure smooth transition of activities.
  • As part of taking over the maintenance activities, a distinct knowledge transfer phase was included in the project plan which included 1 associate at onsite for 6 weeks. With sufficient knowledge about the existing application, Dynamics Teck  took up all major and minor enhancements.
  • Leveraging on the time difference, Dynamics Teck  has set up seamless processes for onsite-offshore communication and project tracking.
  • Dynamics Teck  accesses the application, test and production data that reside on the client systems through Azure connectivity
